Islamabad 12 July: The National Highways and Motorway Police are toughening up on traffic infractions and simplifying the process of paying fines.On August 14, Inspector General Salman Chaudhry made an announcement on the release of a new e-ticketing app. With the help of this app, issuing a single digital ticket for any infraction would simplify the ticketing procedure.
Chaudhry also emphasized the app’s effectiveness in enforcing weight limits on trucks. Overloaded cars have a 98% compliance record with axle load regulations, reducing their likelihood of causing accidents on highways.These actions are meant to increase everyone’s safety and smooth out the roads.
Doorstep Services Dastak
In similar news, the Punjabi government just released a citizen facilitation app that enables you to obtain official documents without visiting their offices. On the Google Play Store, the app is titled Dastak Doorstep Services, but it is being promoted online as “Maryam ki Dastak.”
This is how it operates: Birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, vehicle registrations – you name it, this app can get them for you. Just provide the basics – passport photos, your CNIC (national ID card), and any other required forms.
A government agent or a trusted assistant would then visit your home to collect everything for a cost of Rs. 1,200. Once they have what they need, the processing begins, After they get the necessary materials, processing starts, and you will receive your documents back in nine days.
This service generates income opportunities in addition to being an app. Through a different app, anyone may become a “Dastak Facilitator” and assist others in getting their documents in exchange for a commission. But for the time being, this program might only be available in Lahore.These are the requirements for qualifying to use the app as a facilitator and make money.
