According to the Deputy Commissioner of Murree, emergency teams immediately began clearing operations to restore the road. The administration assured that full access to the Murree Expressway will be restored soon once debris removal is completed.
Authorities have issued a safety alert, urging the public to avoid unnecessary travel and stay away from hilly areas during the current wet spell, as the risk of more landslides damages Murree Expressway remains high.
