Islamabad, Dec 24: With the onset of snowfall on Murree Hills, the City Traffic Police has urged tourists to take precautionary measures when traveling to Murree.
In a statement, Chief Traffic Officer Mughees Ahmad Hashmi emphasized the department’s readiness to provide full support to visitors.
The advisory recommends tourists ensure their vehicles have full fuel tanks and use tyre chains in slippery conditions.
Commuters are advised to prefer four-wheel-drive vehicles and ensure their vehicles are technically sound for the journey.
Highlighting the importance of traffic discipline, Mughees Hashmi warned that violations of traffic rules, including parking in no-parking zones, would not be tolerated. “We need the cooperation of tourists to ensure their stay and trip to Murree are safe and enjoyable,” he stated.
