Islamabad, Aug 3, 2025: In a significant move toward social inclusion and equal citizenship, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially launched the NADRA minority registration drive 2025. This nationwide campaign aims to empower Pakistan’s minority communities by ensuring their access to essential identity documentation.
Scheduled from August 4 to August 11, 2025, the initiative coincides with National Minorities Day. The campaign is a bold step toward bridging the gap between minority communities and essential civic services like education, healthcare, and voting rights.
Making Identity Registration Easier for All
To eliminate hurdles in documentation, NADRA is deploying Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) to remote and underserved areas. These mobile units will facilitate on-site CNIC issuance and renewal, making the process convenient for those who cannot easily access urban registration centers.
Citizens can also visit the nearest NADRA centers during the campaign to benefit from priority services aimed at minority individuals. The initiative is part of NADRA’s wider Digital Pakistan vision, focusing on inclusive access and data transparency.
Promoting Equal Rights Through Civic Inclusion
“NADRA believes every Pakistani—regardless of religion or background—deserves the same rights as any other citizen,” stated a NADRA spokesperson. This powerful message reflects the institution’s commitment to non-discrimination and equal opportunity in line with Pakistan’s constitution.
By ensuring identity verification for minorities, this campaign supports their right to representation and access to all public services. It also reinforces the state’s stance on unity and diversity, strengthening the social fabric of the country.

NADRA’s Digital Revolution Continues
In a parallel effort to modernize public services, NADRA has also introduced a job application feature through the Pak ID mobile app. Pakistani citizens can now apply for government jobs from the comfort of their homes using their mobile devices.
The app enables users to log in via Single Sign-On (SSO), access a personalized dashboard, and submit applications with ease. This development reduces dependency on physical paperwork and aligns with the broader vision of a paperless, digital governance system.
