The NADRA CNIC modification with Pak-ID mobile app has made updating national identity cards easier than ever. Citizens no longer need to visit NADRA offices or stand in long queues, as the entire process can now be completed directly through their mobile phones.
With the latest version of the app (v4.4.3), users can update their CNIC using a fully digital procedure that includes biometric verification, secure fee payment, and document submission. Once the request is approved, the new CNIC is delivered straight to the applicant’s doorstep, saving time and effort.
To start the CNIC modification, simply download the Pak-ID app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. After registering and logging in, the system requires biometric verification through either fingerprints or facial recognition.
Users can then select the required service such as modification, renewal, or reprint, and upload scanned or captured documents directly within the app.
Payments for CNIC modification can be made through Easypaisa, JazzCash, debit/credit card, or e-sahulat. Once approved, the updated CNIC is dispatched to the given address within the official delivery timeframe.
This initiative is part of Pakistan’s ongoing digital transformation, aiming to provide citizens with convenient public services while reducing administrative barriers. NADRA has also expanded digital identity services across more than 1,200 union councils, ensuring accessibility for a wider population.
For additional assistance, users can watch the official step-by-step guide video within the Pak-ID app. The NADRA CNIC modification with Pak-ID mobile app is a major step towards making essential identity services simple, secure, and available from the comfort of home.
