The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the prime identity registration body of Pakistan, has launched a modern one-window service in union councils (UCs) of Tehsil Pasroor, District Sialkot, Mandi Faizabad, and District Nankana. With this initiative, citizens can now access NADRA’s essential identification services closer to their homes without traveling long distances.

According to NADRA’s official announcement on social media, residents of these UCs and surrounding rural areas can now benefit from key services, including issuance and renewal of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), Child Registration Certificates (B-Forms), Family Registration Certificates (FRCs), updates in marital status, and several other documentation facilities.

These NADRA centers will operate five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, ensuring easy access for citizens. For assistance, people can also contact NADRA directly via mobile helpline 1777 or through its landline number +92-51-111-786100.

In addition to expanding physical centers, NADRA has rolled out a major update to its Pak-ID mobile application. The upgraded app introduces user-friendly tools designed to simplify the registration process, particularly for parents applying for documents for young children.

With the new feature, parents can upload photographs directly from their phone’s gallery while applying for a Child Registration Certificate (CRC) or CNIC for children under three years of age—eliminating the hassle of visiting offices and waiting in long queues.

Other key improvements in the Pak-ID app include:

  • Direct photo upload option with printing compatibility on official documents.
  • Easy family record updates, allowing citizens to register unlisted family members.
  • Free biometric relaxation, enabling submissions without fingerprints or facial scans.
  • Enhanced Urdu interface for clearer guidance and smoother navigation.

These upgrades are part of NADRA’s Pak Identity Program, which also offers services like real-time ID tracking, online fee payment via Easypaisa, JazzCash, and e-Sahulat, as well as appointment booking at NADRA centers.
