Islamabad, Jan 18: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is revolutionizing citizen services in Sindh with the launch of the innovative “NADRA Biker Service.” This service, which will be available in Karachi, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas, offers a convenient and efficient way for residents to apply for Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs) and B-forms from the comfort of their homes.
With a fleet of motorcycles deployed in each city—three in Karachi and one each in Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas—the service brings essential government services directly to the doorsteps of citizens.
NADRA’s Biker Service is designed to simplify the process of applying for new CNICs, renewals, and modifications. Residents no longer need to spend time traveling to a NADRA office. Instead, they can simply book a rider through the service, who will deliver the required forms and collect necessary documents for processing. This extends beyond CNICs, allowing families to obtain B-forms for children as well.

Initially launched in Punjab, the Biker Service has now been expanded to Sindh, providing even more accessibility to the residents of these regions.
The service’s launch in Karachi is set for January 20, offering a seamless experience for residents who can expect to receive their CNICs and B-forms at their doorsteps once ready. This marks a significant improvement in public service accessibility, especially for those who may face mobility challenges or time constraints.
A nominal fee of Rs. 1,000 will be charged for utilizing the Biker Service, in addition to the regular fees for CNIC issuance or renewal. The service represents a forward-thinking approach to governance, bringing vital government services closer to the people.
NADRA is making great strides in improving service delivery while ensuring that citizens are not burdened by the hassle of physical visits to offices.
In addition to the Biker Service, NADRA is also set to enhance its digital offerings. The authority has announced the launch of a new mobile app, which will replace the Pak ID web portal.
This app is part of NADRA’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and security, especially for Pakistanis living abroad. By streamlining document uploads and reducing fraud, the app aims to offer a more secure and user-friendly experience for all citizens.
