Islamabad, July 26, 2025: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced on Friday that it will soon launch a new feature in its Pak ID mobile app, allowing users to book appointments for visiting service centers.
Through a social media update, NADRA shared that in the initial phase, this appointment system will be made available at 43 selected NADRA Registration Centers across the country.
This new system is designed to let people fix their visit time in advance, helping cut down waiting hours and manage rush at NADRA offices more effectively.
Although NADRA hasn’t shared a specific release date, it confirmed that the option is “coming soon” and currently being worked on. “The concerned department is working on this, and the option will be added to the Pak ID mobile application very soon,” the post mentioned.
This upcoming service is expected to greatly enhance public convenience at NADRA offices, where people often have to stand in long lines and wait for hours.

At present, the Pak ID app already lets users apply for various ID papers—like fresh or updated CNICs and NICOPs—while sitting at home. It supports fingerprint confirmation, uploading required papers, and paying fees online.
Once updated, the app will also allow users to fix appointments for face-to-face visits, making NADRA services smoother and faster.
In another development, NADRA has also upgraded its digital fee payment system, launching an online method for paying charges related to identity documents.

This move is aimed at giving comfort to both local and overseas Pakistanis, letting them pay through different digital payment tools.
Using the Pak ID app, people can now pay fees for services like Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC) via Easypaisa, JazzCash, or e-Sahulat.
The online payment method by NADRA is made easy, simple, and secure ensuring that applicants receive their documents at the given address without delays.
