PESHAWAR – 16 August 2025: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has enhanced its services for overseas Pakistanis by upgrading the one-window facilitation desk at Bacha Khan International Airport. The newly modernized desk, now located in the briefing area of the international terminal, is designed to streamline identity-related services for Pakistani expatriates and international travelers.

The upgraded facility offers full access to NADRA’s digital services, including those available through the Pak-ID mobile application. According to NADRA’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Regional Director General, travelers can now avail services such as the issuance and renewal of National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), Family Registration Certificates (FRC), and Pakistan Origin Cards (POC) directly at the airport. These services now match the capabilities of NADRA’s main branch offices, providing added convenience, speed, and reliability for passengers.

Special emphasis has been placed on assisting senior citizens, people with disabilities, and travelers requiring urgent documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

This upgrade is part of a broader government initiative aimed at facilitating overseas Pakistanis. The federal government has placed representatives from 13 different departments at airport facilitation desks nationwide to provide a one-stop solution for citizens. Earlier this year, NADRA also launched an online platform via the Pak-ID app for birth and death registrations, allowing citizens to submit vital registration data directly to relevant union councils without visiting local offices. This move is a key step toward realizing the government’s “Digital Pakistan” vision.

With this upgraded desk, overseas Pakistanis and international travelers can now complete important identity-related services faster, more efficiently, and with greater convenience, making travel and documentation smoother than ever before.
