Islamabad, May 29, 2025: After its successful theatre release earlier this month, HIT: The Third Case, starring Nani, is all set to premiere on Netflix, much to the excitement of fans who missed watching it on the big screen. The film, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, is now available for streaming from today, May 29.
Netflix shared the news with a gripping caption: “He’s Arjun for the loved ones and Sarkaar for the criminals.” The crime thriller, originally in Telugu, is also dubbed in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada to reach a wider audience.
Fans were quick to react to the OTT release. One user exclaimed, “Already saw the movie in theatre on the first day but still will see again,” while another wrote, “Finallyyyy the wait is over.”
This third chapter in the HIT franchise brings Nani into the spotlight as SP Arjun Sarkaar, a new recruit to the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT) in Visakhapatnam. The story takes a sharp turn when Arjun, after eliminating two civilians, comes under the radar of ASP Varsha. But her suspicions barely scratch the surface, Arjun’s actions are driven by something far more complex.
True to the franchise’s style, this instalment was teased during the post-credit sequence of HIT: The Second Case, introducing Nani’s character as the next lead.

Although HIT: The Third Case drew mixed reactions from critics, some pointing to a shaky storyline, it was widely appreciated for Nani’s gripping performance. The movie turned out to be a box office success, raking in a remarkable 120 crore on a budget of 65 crore. Produced by Wall Poster Cinema in collaboration with Nani’s Unanimous Productions, the film managed to outperform the combined revenue of its predecessors.

The franchise is far from over. In the post-credit scene of the third film, makers revealed that actor Karthi will take the reins for the next chapter, HIT: The Fourth Case.
