Islamabad, May 28, 2025: Antonio Conte might decide to remain at Napoli though a final decision is still a few days away. The Italian manager, who delivered an unlikely league title in his debut season with the southern club, was previously believed to leave following disagreements over the future direction of the club.

Conte, who signed a three-year deal last summer, was reportedly frustrated, particularly with the mid-season sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain. The Georgian left Napoli after two and a half seasons for a reported fee of $80 million. Conte had made an effort to keep the forward in Naples, but couldn’t persuade him to stay.

The coach is believed to have demand multiple number of new arrivals in the summer transfer market, as well as internal improvements to the club’s structure and support system.

Earlier this week, club president Aurelio De Laurentiis sat down with Conte for a three-hour discussion in Rome. The meeting focused on potential ways to move forward together, and how the club could align better with Antonio Conte vision.

Amid all this, Conte continues to be linked with a return to Juventus, a club he once led both on and off the pitch. Though he famously walked away from the Bianconeri in 2014, talk of a reunion has intensified, especially given Juve’s recent struggles.

Sources suggest that Antonio Conte has taken a few days to carefully consider his options on whether to remain in Naples or take on a new challenge. Known for parting ways with clubs when his ambitions aren’t matched, as he did with Juventus in the summer of 2014 and later with Inter Milan In 2021, a dramatic twist could be expected.
