Islamabad, Dec 5: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi awarded a cash prize of PKR 10 million to the Pakistan blind cricket team for their historic victory in the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup 2024.
The ceremony took place at the National Cricket Academy, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Naqvi praised the team for their dedication and hard work, which led to the remarkable achievement.
He highlighted how the victory brought pride to the nation and underscored PCB’s commitment to supporting such initiatives.
Additionally, the Chairman announced a grant of PKR 20 million for the Blind Cricket Association, presenting a cheque to its President, Sultan Shah.
He also commended team captain Nisar Ali for his leadership and assured full support for the team’s future endeavors.
