Islamabad, Dec 19: Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi recently visited the King Fahd Security College, where he was warmly welcomed by the institution’s Director General, Major General Dr. Ali Al-Daij.
During the visit, the Minister explored various departments of the college and expressed admiration for its high educational standards, with particular emphasis on the relevance of its master’s programs in addressing modern security challenges.
The Minister praised the college’s five-year strategic plan and acknowledged the leadership of Major General Dr. Al-Daij in guiding the institution towards excellence. In a meeting with the Director General, they discussed the possibility of establishing exchange programs to enhance cooperation, focusing on study tours and training for graduates from both nations.
The Minister invited the college’s Master’s graduates to visit Pakistan as part of the exchange initiative and suggested offering short-term training courses for Pakistani graduates at King Fahd Security College.
Referring to the college as “an exemplary model of Saudi leadership’s innovative vision,” Minister Naqvi highlighted its global contribution to tackling contemporary security issues. As part of his visit, the Minister also toured the Forensic Science Institute, where he was briefed on its academic and training initiatives. He took particular note of the college’s advanced programs in Artificial Intelligence, Leadership Management, and Security Applications, as well as its international security scholarships.
In concluding his visit, Minister Naqvi commended the college as “a world-class institution” and praised its significant role in advancing security education.
