The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) held a briefing session on Thursday for foreign diplomats in Islamabad to outline the humanitarian and infrastructural impacts of the ongoing monsoon season.

The session was attended by ambassadors and senior diplomats from over 30 foreign missions.

During the briefing, NDMA showcased its extensive response efforts, including the deployment of national resources to address the crisis. Chairman NDMA, Lt General Inam Haider Malik, emphasized the agency’s coordinated efforts with provincial and regional disaster management authorities, the distribution of relief supplies, and the use of advanced technology for weather monitoring and timely aid delivery.
