Islamabad, Aug 9: Member Operations Mir Badshah Khan Wazir has been instructed by the recently appointed Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial to present a briefing on the Tajir Dost Scheme.
According to sources, the FBR executives briefed the recently appointed chairman on Thursday about the organization’s structure in addition to the current policy-level initiatives, such as the Tajir Dost Scheme and FBR digitization.It is important to remember that FBR announced revised income tax rates for 42 cities following discussions with trade associations.
According to the legislation, traders must pay taxes on a monthly basis. If a trader fails to pay, FBR will take legal action against them. According to sources, the chairman also gave instructions to several FBR directorates to make a presentation. According to sources, the chairman’s primary goal is to maximize tax revenue. In case the government experiences any deficiency, FBR has just sent the finance minister several tax-related ideas.
