Islamabad, July 28, 2025: Saudi Arabia has extended the grace period originally declared in June, giving holders of all types of expired visit visas another chance to exit the country legally. This Saudi Arabia visit visa grace period is aimed at easing the departure process for those overstaying due to visa expiry.
As reported by the Kingdom’s General Directorate of Passports, this extended timeframe will run for 30 days, beginning from July 26, 2025. “The move is aimed at facilitating final departure for individuals whose visit visas have expired.”
This step was first rolled out last month in observance of the start of the Hijri New Year. To qualify for the offer, applicants are required to settle any necessary dues or penalties under current rules.

“The Directorate explained that eligible individuals can take advantage of this initiative by submitting a request through the Tawasul service on the Ministry of Interior’s ‘Absher’ electronic services platform.”
All impacted visitors were encouraged by authorities to utilize this Saudi Arabia visit visa grace period before the given deadline.
