New Suzuki Alto Launched in Pakistan With Upgrades

Islamabad, Apr 17, 2025: Following a price increase of up to Rs. 120,000 earlier in February 2025, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has officially launched the upgraded edition of the popular Alto hatchback, now enhanced with multiple safety and comfort enhancements.

Previously, the automaker had hinted that the price adjustment was due to the integration of modern features.

Now, the updated version has been showcased at authorized dealerships, where the complete feature list has also been made public.

The primary upgrades aim to elevate the driving experience through improved safety and convenience.

Key Enhancements Across All Variants

All versions of the updated Suzuki Alto now feature:

Relocated rear emblem for a fresh design
Seatbelt warning indicator
Front right seatbelt pretensioner
Seatbelt reminder system
ISOFIX child seat anchor points
New rear garnish for a refined look

Additions in VXR MT and VXR AGS Trims

Power window lighting for easier night use
Power windows in both front and rear
Anti-pinch functionality for the driver’s window
One-touch auto up/down driver-side window

Model-Specific Improvements

VXR MT: Now includes Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for enhanced control
VXR AGS: Newly equipped with side turn indicators for better visibility

Recently, the Alto faced public criticism after a viral video showed a heavily damaged unit, sparking speculation that it had been removed from highway eligibility or was facing a production halt.

However, these rumors were promptly dismissed by the company.
