Islamabad, Aug 7, 2025: Saudi Arabia Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a new update that lets users access the Nusuk app without using mobile internet, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
The move introduced with the support of telecom firms STC, Mobily and Zain is designed to make the pilgrimage process smoother and boost the digital services available to Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.
Ministry representative Ghassan Al-Nuwaimi shared that those using local SIM cards can now access all Nusuk features such as booking, permits and navigation without needing a mobile data plan or Wi-Fi connection.

Through this feature, pilgrims can arrange train bookings for the Haramain Express, view maps, use AI tools and file reports or questions, all without extra internet costs.
Nusuk platform head Ahmed Al-Maiman noted that this addition will help manage crowds better, give fast access to vital details, help prevent pilgrims from getting lost and speed up permit checks at key entry points.
