Islamabad, May 6, 2025: Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, the 14-year-old son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has received his first call-up to the Portugal Under-15 squad.
The young forward is set to represent the national team in a youth tournament scheduled to take place in Croatia from 13 to 18 May, where Portugal will face Japan, Greece, and England.
Currently part of the youth setup at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo Jr has followed his father’s path across several elite clubs.
His football journey has included stints at the academies of Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United, and now Al-Nassr.

Notably, during his time in Italy, he reportedly scored 58 goals in a single season for Juventus’ youth side.
His father, Cristiano Ronaldo, shared his pride on social media, posting a photo of the official squad list with his son’s name highlighted, accompanied by a message expressing how proud he felt.
The elder Ronaldo, now 40, remains an active Portugal international and holds the world record for most goals in men’s football with 136 to his name.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner led Portugal to their historic Euro 2016 victory and the Nations League title in 2019.

Despite his age, he continues to feature for the national team and scored in March during a dramatic win over Denmark, although he missed a penalty in the same match.
Ronaldo Jr has already attracted attention online, with videos of him performing his father’s famous ‘Siu’ celebration going viral.
He has also previously played alongside other high-profile footballers’ children, including Kai Rooney at Manchester United.
Although born in the United States and having spent formative years in Spain, Ronaldo Jr is currently eligible to represent Portugal, Spain, or the US at international level.
