The Punjab School Education Department in an official notification has directed that no bouquet be presented during the official visits of its Secretary. The new instruction applies to all Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) and school administrations across the province.
According to the notification, it was observed that bouquets were frequently presented to the Secretary during visits, a practice the department has now discouraged. The order states that the money spent on such presentations should instead be used for the welfare and well-being of students in their respective schools and districts.

The Punjab School Education Department emphasized that these instructions must be followed in both letter and spirit. Copies of the directive have also been shared with the Special Secretary and Additional Secretaries of the School Education Department for strict compliance.
