Islamabad, June 4, 2025: The Central Business District (CBD) Punjab has taken a major step toward technology advancement as NSIT (Nawaz Sharif-IT) Silicon Block has officially been designated as a Special Technology Zone by the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA).
According to CBD Punjab officials, the Zone Development License and Development Agreement for NSIT Silicon Block will be issued shortly.
Imran Amin, Chief Executive Officer of CBD Punjab, expressed confidence that this declaration will lead to a significant boost in both investment and employment opportunities.
“The notification of CBD reflects our unwavering commitment to creating a future-ready ecosystem in Punjab. This move will not only attract global and local tech investors but also foster innovation, job creation, and economic growth. We are working closely with STZA to expedite the next steps, including the ZD license and Development Agreement, ensuring swift and seamless development of the zone,” he stated.

Imran Amin further noted that NSIT Silicon Block will soon host cutting-edge companies working in modern technology, artificial intelligence, and research and development sectors.
