Islamabad, Oct 5: October 2024: Normal, urgent latest Pakistani passport fee
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports is responsible for issuing passports to Pakistani citizens who wish to travel abroad for various purposes, such as tourism or employment.
A passport serves as the primary identification document for citizens while overseas, ensuring their rights to enter and exit Pakistan.
Passport Application Process
To apply for a new passport, individuals should visit their nearest passport office and submit their applications.
The Directorate General offers three processing categories: normal, urgent, and fast track. As of October 2024, the processing fees for normal and urgent categories remain unchanged.
Passport Fees
The fees for different passport categories are as follows:
36-page Ordinary Passport:
- 5-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 4,500
- Urgent: Rs 7,500
- 10-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 6,700
- Urgent: Rs 11,200
72-page Passport:
- 5-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 8,200
- Urgent: Rs 13,500
- 10-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 12,400
- Urgent: Rs 20,200
100-page Passport:
- 5-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 9,000
- Urgent: Rs 18,000
- 10-year validity:
- Normal: Rs 13,500
- Urgent: Rs 27,000
Additional Requirements
Applicants must provide the following documents:
- Proof of payment
- Valid CNIC/NICOP
- Previous passport (if applicable)
- NOC from employers (if applicable)

Fast Track Service
The Fast Track Service is available in 21 cities, with a processing time of 2 working days. Fees for this service range from Rs 12,500 to Rs 32,000, depending on the passport category and validity period.
Passport Renewal and Modification
Citizens can also apply for passport renewal before their existing passport expires. Modifications, such as changes to names, father’s name, or date of birth, can also be made as needed.
