OffGrid Studios and Pakistan National Council of the Arts proudly announce the launch of and Art exhibition, “Be a Catalyst; Reimagining Connection with Gaia,” on the 3rd of July, 2024 at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) National Art Gallery, Gallery #6 Islamabad. This compelling exhibition invites visitors to explore diverse perspectives on our relationship with the Earth, viewed through the lens of Gaia, the living entity. The opening of the exhibition was done by Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination.
The exhibition features a thought-provoking array of artworks that delve into environmental themes, each offering a unique viewpoint on pressing ecological issues. Artists participating in the exhibition bring forth their creativity to spark meaningful conversations about the current state of our planet and potential pathways for positive change.
Visitors can expect to encounter a wide spectrum of artistic expressions, unified by a common goal: to reimagine and strengthen our bond with the natural world. From paintings and sculptures to multimedia installations, each piece reflects the artist’s deep-seated connection to environmental stewardship and the urgency of sustainability.
Geytee Ara, Lubna Jehangir, Khurram Babary, Faiza Gondal, Shahzeb Ahmad, Rahat Shahid, Tayyaba Faisal, Saffia Mughees, Dr. Maimoona Khan, Sidra Ali, Tanzeel Babary, Sidra Ashraf, Syeda Nadia Raza, Samreen Asghar and Zarar Haider Babary bring their distinct voices and visions to the forefront, enriching the discourse with their profound insights and artistic prowess.

The exhibition is dedicated to Shahid Masood also known as Shahidi, a Lahore based artist. He was a mentor, designer and artist who inspired many over the course of his life. He is remembered fondly for his untiring dedication for teaching arts to the community and being an ever supportive friend and mentor.
