Islamabad, Dec 16: OnePlus is set to launch the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro on December 26, 2024, in China, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsets, respectively. However, the excitement doesn’t stop there, as leaks hint at a host of additional models to follow in 2025, broadening the Ace lineup significantly.
Flagship and Compact Models
The OnePlus Ace 5 Mini is rumored to debut in Q2 2025 as a compact flagship. It is expected to feature a 6.31-inch display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera, offering high-end performance in a smaller form factor.
Additionally, the Ace 5 Pro will be accompanied by the Ace 5s, reportedly powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9-series chipset. This model could rival devices like the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro and Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro. The Ace 5s is speculated to feature a 1.5K flat OLED display, an advanced in-screen fingerprint scanner, a 7,000mAh battery, and a premium vibration motor, promising durability and cutting-edge performance.
Mid-Range Offerings
The OnePlus Ace 5V is also expected to launch in 2025 as an upper mid-range option. While details are limited, it could succeed the Ace 3V by offering high performance with a likely upgrade to the Snapdragon 7-series chipset or a comparable alternative.
A Robust Lineup for Diverse Needs
A leak from Digital Chat Station reveals that a Dimensity 9-series-powered Ace 5 variant may debut in April 2025, hinting at OnePlus’s strategy to cater to both flagship and mid-range users. With features like large batteries, advanced displays, and competitive pricing, OnePlus’s Ace series is set to appeal to a broad spectrum of smartphone buyers in 2025.
