Islamabad, Aug 22: Regarding the battery life of Oppo’s upcoming Find X8 Ultra smartphone, rumors are still circulating. A recent Weibo tweet purporting to be from Digital Chat Station (DCS) suggests a somewhat lower capacity of 6,000 mAh, just weeks after DCS, a tipster, estimated a battery size of 6,100–6,200 mAh.
A 6,000 mAh battery would still be a major improvement over the 5,000 mAh battery found in the Find X7 Ultra, albeit the disparity. Charge rates, however, seem to have not changed; the maximums for wired and wireless charging are 100W and 50W, respectively.
Zhou Yibao, the product manager for the Find series, has revealed that Oppo’s Find X8 Ultra would have a substantial battery boost. Yibao revealed that the next flagship will use a revolutionary cell technology and have a 6,000 mAh battery. He did not, however, divulge the charging speeds.
Although there are little official data available, leaks and rumors point to some outstanding specifications for the Find X8 Ultra. The smartphone is rumored to have a huge 6.8-inch 8T LTPO display with a sharp 3,168 x 1,440-pixel resolution. Rumor has it that the camera system, which has four 50MP sensors on the back and two periscope telephoto lenses for improved zoom capabilities, is similarly amazing.
We anticipate the Find X8 lineup will officially emerge in early 2025, since Oppo’s Find X series of phones usually debuts at the beginning of the year. It will probably debut in China before expanding to other markets.
