Historical Background

Established in 1973, the plant began production in 1978 with several key units including ammonia, nitric acid, urea, and CAN. It was privatized in 2005, becoming part of the Fatima Group’s extensive industrial network. In 2020, most manufacturing operations were transferred to Fatima Fertilizer, with Pak Arab shifting its focus to trading and service operations.

Today, Pak Arab Fertilizer Multan specializes in:

  • Liquid Carbon Dioxide (LCO₂) production, with a capacity of 192 metric tons per day.
  • DAP fertilizer trading, fulfilling the local agricultural demand.
  • Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services for industrial facilities within and beyond the Fatima Group.

Despite the restructuring, the plant maintains its reputation for quality and technical efficiency, backed by certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001.
