Islamabad, 29 Apr, 2025:Pakistan Army Shoots Down Indian Spy Quadcopter Along LoC, marking another incident of cross-border aerial intrusion.
The unmanned drone was downed in the Manawar area of Bhimber district, situated along the Line of Control (LoC), after it entered Pakistani airspace without authorization.
According to defence sources, the quadcopter, reportedly operated by Indian forces, was engaged in reconnaissance when it was detected and swiftly targeted by Pakistan Army troops stationed in the region. The military termed it a clear violation of airspace and an act of provocation.

Security officials said the Pakistan Army’s prompt action successfully prevented what they described as an attempt to gather intelligence near sensitive border locations.


The interception highlights the military’s enhanced vigilance and combat readiness in the face of potential threats along the frontier.

As of now, Indian officials have not issued any public statement acknowledging or responding to the incident.

Authorities have also confirmed that the wreckage of the downed drone has been secured for further technical analysis to determine the nature and capabilities of the equipment used in the attempted surveillance.
