Islamabad, Nov 5: Pak-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Contacts Key to Strengthening Bilateral Ties and Investment, Says Ayaz. Parliamentary interactions between the parliaments of Pak- Kazakhstan could be crucial in strengthening the current bilateral ties, according to Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Tuesday.
When Kazakhstan’s ambassador, Yerzhan Kistafin, paid him a visit at Parliament House, Ayaz Sadiq stated that Pakistan cherishes its friendly relations with Kazakhstan and that the two nations share an enduring link of a same religion, culture, and history.
He added that strengthening links between the two countries is essential to the development and prosperity of the area. Enhancing engagement and cooperation between the two nations in the areas of trade, infrastructure, information technology, education, and agriculture was covered during the meeting.
Pakistan has enormous potential to improve bilateral cooperation in the fields of agriculture, energy, and information technology, according to Ayaz Sadiq, who also highlighted Pakistan’s unique geographic location as a major enabler of international trade.
According to him, Pakistan’s advantages in investment and agriculture offer both countries significant prospects. Yerzhan Kistafin recognized the value of strengthening the two nations’ relationship and emphasized the necessity of ongoing communication to improve collaboration across a range of areas.
He acknowledged Kazakhstan’s willingness to strengthen bilateral ties and praised Pakistan’s contribution to linking Central Asia with international markets.Additionally, the Ambassador commended Pakistan for holding the recent SCO Summit 2024 with success.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov noted that is the first Kazakh prime minister to visit Pakistan in history, underscoring the historical significance of the country’s prime minister’s trip to attend the SCO Summit. He was pleased with the summit’s results, which are intended to strengthen regional cooperation.
The Speaker National Assembly was also invited by the Ambassador to travel to Kazakhstan with a legislative delegation.With a common goal of strengthening economic integration and promoting reciprocal development between Pakistan and Kazakhstan, both parties reaffirmed their dedication to looking into new opportunities for cooperation.
