This marks the latest in a series of trilateral engagements aimed at improving political trust, boosting economic ties, and addressing mutual concerns over border security and militancy.
The last high-level trilateral dialogue between the three countries took place in Islamabad in May 2023, where the sides agreed to enhance cooperation under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) framework and explore its extension into Afghanistan.
Security measures in Kabul are being heightened ahead of the meeting, with Afghan authorities coordinating closely with visiting delegations to ensure smooth proceedings.
