Islamabad, Aug 25: In order to further explore bilateral and multilateral cooperation in various economic sectors, Pakistan and Azerbaijan have held a meeting at the latter’s residence on Sunday. During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were deliberated, including bilateral relations and the general situation of the region.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chairman Senate stated that Pakistan cherishes its fraternal relations with Azerbaijan and that more cooperation between the two nations is required in the areas of economic and trade, investment, energy, defense, agriculture, and natural resources.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the Senate, removing the current barriers to commerce and investment between the two nations is essential for the economy to improve. He stated that fostering relationships at the public level can be aided by institutional and parliamentary cooperation.
The Deputy Chairman of the Senate emphasized both bilateral and multilateral collaboration during the meeting and stated that Pakistan will continue to advance its economic ties with Azerbaijan. Syedaal Khan stated that regular delegation interactions in the business sector can lead to chances for trade and investment.According to him, Pakistan, particularly the province of Baluchistan, is rich in mineral resources and will play a significant role in influencing the future of this area.
He continued, “Investors and businessmen from all over the world should take advantage of the investment opportunities in Pakistan,” as Pakistan would prove to be the region’s economic and commerce powerhouse. The Deputy Chairman of the Senate stated that religious and cultural values form the foundation of the connection between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.The effort that the delegations were doing to encourage exchanges was highlighted.
According to Senate Deputy Chairman Syedaal Khan, parliaments bear a major duty for regional peace and development. He claimed that Pakistan had made significant financial and human sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. He promised to take all necessary steps to ensure the region’s survival and tranquility.
The Azerbaijani ambassador, Khazar Farhadov, agreed with the Deputy Chairman of the Senate’s assessment that the Indian government has set the worst example of cruelty and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir. He stated that Islamic countries need to adopt a common plan of action for the freedom of the Palestinians and that the world should take strict measures against the ongoing cruelty and brutality in Palestine.
The PML-N Leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif are working for Pakistan’s development and prosperity, according to the Deputy Chairman of the Senate.They emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation and decided to create an early action plan for the delegation exchange in the business sector.
