Islamabad, Aug 24: The Pakistan Armed Forces’ tri-services team won five medals in the 4th CISM (International Military Sports Council) World Military Cadet Games, marking an incredible feat of triumph. From August 16 to 22, military athletes from all over the world gathered in Caracas, Venezuela, to compete in this esteemed tournament.
The Pakistani squad excelled in a variety of track and field and shooting competitions, inspiring pride in the country with their remarkable achievements. Pakistan Air Force’s Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Baloch showed brightly, adding a silver medal in the 200 meters to his achievements in addition to winning a gold medal in the 400 meters. He was acknowledged internationally for his exceptional speed and commitment.
Apart from Mueed Baloch’s accomplishments, Sepoy Muhammad Akhtar of the Pakistan Army also achieved remarkable outcomes in long-distance running competitions. His perseverance and commitment were evident as he won a bronze medal in the 5,000 meters and a silver medal in the difficult 10,000 meters.
