Islamabad, Apr 15, 2025: Pakistan textile sector reached a historic milestone with the successful conclusion of Textile Asia 2025, the largest textile trade exhibition in South Asia.
The event led to trade deals valued at approximately $550 million and a number of memorandums of understanding (MOUs) focused on fostering investment.
Held over three days, the exhibition was organized by E-commerce Gateway Pakistan and supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
It attracted nearly 67,000 trade professionals and featured 500 international companies from 20 countries across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Prominent international delegations from countries like Turkey, China, Russia, and others showcased state-of-the-art textile technologies.

However, This growing global participation reinforced confidence in Pakistan’s economic resilience and industrial growth, signaling the country’s rising importance as a key player in the global textile market.
Dr. Khurshid Nizam, President of E-commerce Gateway Pakistan, expressed pride in the event’s success, stating, “Textile Asia 2025 has made Pakistan’s ambition to become a global textile hub a reality.” Azier Nizam, Project Director, added, “The international interest and agreements surpassed our expectations.”
The exhibition also featured insightful sessions on key industry topics such as automation, innovation, and sustainability in textile production.
These discussions underscored Pakistan’s dedication to adopting modern manufacturing techniques that align with international environmental standards.
Industry experts hailed the event as a significant turning point for Pakistan’s export expansion, investment appeal, and international collaboration.
The initiative designed to forge stronger business and technical ties between Pakistani companies and global partners.
However, The impressive turnout and dynamic business activities at the event demonstrated Pakistan’s growing influence in the textile industry, with participants focused on driving the sector’s modernization and export growth.
Although, the 29th edition of Textile Asia was the largest in the country’s history, positioning Pakistan to compete more effectively in the global textile arena through technological advancements and sustainable industry practices.
