Islamabad, Nov 7: The Pakistan Blind Cricket Team is putting in immense effort and dedication in their preparations for the fourth T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, which is taking place at the Uqab School Blind Cricket Academy in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.
The 21-man squad is in training regularly each day at practice sessions in all relevant facets of the cricketing games such as batting, bowling, fielding, and physical fitness.
The committee consist of Masood Jan, Muhammad Jameel and Tahir Mehmood Butt.
More so the Pakistan’s players are fully aware of the expectations of their people
And will do all they in their power to ensure that the country proud especially
when they are facing their archrivals, India.
There are several new talents who have joined the team and have been recognized for their contributions.
The selection committee is rigorously evaluating all players’ skills,
with a strong emphasis on fitness levels, although top players have been selected without factoring in the fitness of those chosen.
The hosts of the tournament India are the only team
which has successfully clinched all three previous editions of the trophy and the latest was in 2022.
Pakistan’s players are particularly keen to turn the tables for India on home territory.
The Olympic teams will compete at the upcoming event representing Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan besides other teams.
Pakistan Blind Cricket Team is set to take place from November 23 to December 3,
with all matches held exclusively in Lahore and Multan.
Fans eagerly anticipate the tournament, believing it will showcase a thrilling contest among the top teams in blind cricket.
