ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 13: According to new data from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturing Association (PAMA), car sales in Pakistan for the first month of the current fiscal year 2024–25 climbed by 58.21% over the same month the previous year.
As per the available data, Pakistan sold 5,857 cars in the month under review, compared to 3,702 units in the same month the previous year.
According to the breakdown of sales, 208 Honda Civic and City units were sold in the same month of previous year, whereas 790 units were sold in 2024–25.
Sales of Toyota Corolla and Yaris automobiles rose by 3.65% to 1,106 units in July of the prior year from 1,067 units.
The Suzuki Swift saw a 101.60 percent growth in sales, rising from 249 units to 502 units in the previous year. Sales of Suzuki WagonR dropped to 139 units from 245 units last year, while sales of Suzuki Cultus dipped to 96 units in the first month of this year from 177 units in the same month the previous year.
Additionally, sales of Suzuki Alto increased by 99.23 percent to 2,869 units in the current year from 1,440 units, while sales of Suzuki Bolan increased to 288 units from 146 units in the same month previous year.
