Islamabad, June 23, 2025: Pakistan on Monday extended its ban on Indian flights from entering its airspace for another month, continuing limitations initially imposed in April due to rising diplomatic and military tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) released an updated Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) on Monday, officially extending the suspension until the end of July. These limitations, which affect both Indian civilian and defense flights, were originally put in place on April 24, 2025, reintroduced on May 23.

According to official insiders, the decision to uphold the ban is a “protective measure” in response to what Islamabad terms as “ongoing aggression” from New Delhi, even after a ceasefire was declared on May 10 following the most intense military confrontation between the two countries in years.
