Islamabad, Aug 8, 2025: The price of 24 karat gold in Pakistan surged by Rs. 500 per tola on Friday, closing at Rs. 362,700 compared to Rs. 362,200 recorded the previous day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This increase reflects ongoing demand and market fluctuations impacting precious metal rates across the country.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs. 428, reaching Rs. 310,956 from Rs. 310,528. Meanwhile, 22 karat gold for 10 grams witnessed a steady increase of Rs. 392, moving up to Rs. 285,053 from Rs. 284,661.

Silver prices also experienced an upward trend with the per tola rate climbing Rs. 149 to Rs. 4,073. This rise corresponds with shifts seen in the global commodities market.

On the international front, gold prices showed positive momentum, gaining $5 to reach $3,400 per ounce, up from $3,395. Silver prices followed suit, edging higher by $0.14 to $38.40 compared to $38.26 earlier, as reported by the Association.
