Islamabad, Aug 7, 2025: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a major jump on Thursday, pushing the 24-karat gold rate to Rs362,200 per tola, according to fresh figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA). This marks a Rs2,900 per tola surge, reflecting global market trends and currency fluctuations.

The hike in local gold prices follows a sharp rise in international bullion rates, now standing at $3,395 per ounce, up by $29 from the previous day. Additionally, the ongoing volatility in the rupee-dollar exchange rate continues to impact local pricing.

Latest Gold Rates in Pakistan (24K and 22K)

  • 24K Gold per 10 grams: Rs310,528 (Increase of Rs2,487)
  • 22K Gold per 10 grams: Rs284,661 (Increase of Rs2,280)

These rates are derived based on 999 purity (24K) and align with the current interbank exchange rate.

Silver Prices in Pakistan Also Climb

Following the upward global trend, silver rates in Pakistan also moved higher.

  • Silver per tola (24K): Rs4,059 (Increase of Rs49)
  • Silver per 10 grams: Rs3,479 (Increase of Rs42)
