The Hajj Scheme 2026 is close to being fully booked as the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed on Monday that more than 114,500 applications have been submitted so far. Only about 3,500 seats remain available.
Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt said that designated banks will keep receiving applications until the quota is completed. He advised pilgrims to apply quickly at their nearest nominated bank branch, warning that “the process will stop as soon as the last seats are filled.”
Officials noted that the overwhelming response highlights the strong interest of Pakistanis in performing Hajj next year under the official scheme.
This year’s Hajj 2026 government scheme includes two options: a longer package of 38–42 days and a shorter package of 20–25 days. The cost ranges from Rs1.15 million to Rs1.25 million. Applicants must deposit Rs500,000 or Rs550,000 initially, depending on the package, while the remaining balance will be collected from November 1.

The ministry also clarified that overseas Pakistanis holding valid Pakistani passports are eligible to apply.
As per the policy, 70 percent of the total quota is allocated to the government scheme, while 30 percent is set aside for private tour operators. Pakistan’s overall quota stands at 179,210 pilgrims—119,210 for the government and 60,000 for private operators—subject to final confirmation from Saudi Arabia.
