The PSB has demanded a detailed plan from Pakistan Hockey Federation on Pro League preparations after allocating Rs. 250 million for the national team’s participation.

The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has asked the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) to share a clear and detailed plan for the national team’s participation in the upcoming FIH Pro League. This comes after the government approved Rs. 250 million to support the team.

Officials have given the PHF three days to explain how they will prepare for the tournament, including training, travel and team selection. The demand follows growing concerns about how the federation is handling its responsibilities and the money it receives.

At the same time, a parliamentary sub-committee has been set up to look into the PHF’s overall affairs. This includes issues like delayed payments to players, unclear elections, and how the federation is run.

Despite all this, sources say the PHF is likely to confirm the team’s participation in the Pro League soon. With major funding already in place, fans are hoping the team gets the support it needs and that Pakistan hockey finally starts moving in the right direction again.
