Pakistan and Hong Kong have signed a formal agreement to strengthen legal and regulatory cooperation. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was finalized during the Belt and Road Summit in Hong Kong, marking an important step in bilateral relations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Pakistan Federal Secretary for Law, Raja Naeem Akbar and Hong Kong’s Secretary for Justice. Both sides agreed to build closer ties in legal matters and enhance professional capacity in related fields.

Under the agreement, Hong Kong will provide Pakistan with training in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. The pact also covers collaboration in digital governance and the regulation of virtual assets, areas that are becoming increasingly important in the global economy.
