In Lahore, the Meteorological Department has forecasted rain and storms across various regions of the country from today until June 7.
The department has issued a rain alert, indicating that mild westerly winds will penetrate the upper and central areas starting June 4. This weather system may lead to gusts, squalls, and thunderstorms in different parts of the nation.
As per the meteorological forecast, rainfall is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Okara, Faisalabad, and Khushab. Additionally, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Leh may also experience windy and rainy conditions.
Thundershowers are predicted in Jacobabad, Larkana, Quetta, and Barkhan as well.
The Meteorological Department warns of potential damage to standing crops and vulnerable infrastructure due to the strong winds.
