The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has released the official list of verified umrah tour operators 2025–26 (1447 AH). In the first phase, agreements of 53 Umrah companies from different parts of the country have been attested to protect pilgrims from scams and financial fraud.
According to the ministry, the approved Umrah operators are based in major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar. Each company has been screened under strict government standards to ensure safe and reliable services for pilgrims.
Ministry spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt advised citizens to book their Umrah packages only through the verified operators. He added that the attested list will remain valid for one year (1447 AH) and urged other operators to complete their documentation to qualify for inclusion.

Separately, the ministry announced that more than 114,500 applications have been received under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026. With only about 3,500 seats left, designated banks have been directed to continue accepting applications until the quota is filled. Pilgrims have been advised to apply without delay as the process will close once the remaining seats are taken.
