Islamabad, June 10, 2025: Finance Minister has announced that Pakistan’s IT exports reached $3.1 billion in the first ten months of the fiscal year. The government is actively working to improve SME financing, with a target to boost it to Rs. 1,100 billion by 2028.
To support low-income families, the government plans to offer affordable housing loans, while remittances hit $31.2 billion, marking a 31% increase from last year.
Special incentives for overseas Pakistanis include:
- Dedicated courts for resolving their issues
- Online case registration system
- Quota in universities and medical colleges for their children
- Civil awards for top 15 remittance senders on August 14
The minister also revealed that small farmers will get unsecured loans up to Rs. 100,000, which will be directly transferred to their e-wallets. A new National Seed Development and Authority will be established to support agricultural growth.
Pakistan’s economy is projected to grow at a rate of 4.2%, showing signs of stable recovery and forward momentum.
