The Fully-Funded Scholarship program will allow Turkish students to pursue higher education in some of Pakistan’s premier universities, promoting bilateral learning and intercultural dialogue.
It is part of a broader vision under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme to engage regional allies in nurturing knowledge-based partnerships.
Ambassador Neziroglu welcomed the gesture warmly, emphasizing that the connection between Pakistan and Türkiye transcends formal diplomacy.
“Our nations share a brotherhood rooted in history and solidarity. This step further strengthens that legacy,” he said.
The Ambassador also recalled Pakistan’s heartfelt support during Türkiye’s devastating earthquake in 2023, particularly Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit, which he described as a reflection of genuine camaraderie during hardship.
During their discussions, the two sides explored avenues for broader cooperation, including Turkish participation in the National Youth Council of Pakistan.
They also reviewed possibilities for collaboration in digital media, creative industries, and youth sports exchanges areas seen as critical to enhancing shared values and understanding.
Chairman Rana Mashhood stressed that Pakistan is committed to investing in regional academic collaboration and offering meaningful learning opportunities to international students.
