Islamabad, Apr 30, 2025: Buraqi Vehicles, an emerging electric vehicle startup from Pakistan, has unveiled a revolutionary electric motorcycle that can travel up to 500 kilometers on a single charge.
Designed and assembled entirely in Pakistan, this motorcycle significantly reduces operational expenses and presents a unique dealership opportunity for entrepreneurs across the country.
Motor and Battery Specifications
The motorcycle is powered by a robust 2kW high-torque Li-Ion motor paired with a 10.43 kWh NCM (Nickel Cobalt Manganese) battery.
This setup, which exceeds the capacity of many households solar systems, offers enhanced energy efficiency and exceptional long-distance capabilities.
Innovative Design and Local Manufacturing Buraqi’s motorcycle features an intelligent design, with the electronics and charging port housed within the tank for a sleek, durable build. Though splash-resistant, the bike is not designed for full submersion. The motorcycle’s local manufacturing ensures that spare parts are readily available, keeping maintenance costs low and providing great long-term value for owners.
Performance and Efficiency
The motorcycle boasts a top speed of 85 km/h, which can be increased to over 100 km/h. It offers four different riding modes, a reverse gear, and disc brakes on both wheels.
A full charge requires just 11.23 units of electricity, costing approximately Rs. 450–500, making it a highly cost-effective alternative to traditional fuel-powered vehicles.
Pricing and Variants
The premium model of the Buraqi electric motorcycle is priced at Rs. 640,000.
Remarkably, the cost of the battery alone is nearly Rs. 650,000 in the solar industry, which essentially makes the bike an economically neutral investment.

The company offers 11 different models starting at Rs. 230,000, catering to various rider preferences and needs.
