Pakistani players have seen a decline in the latest ICC ODI rankings following their underwhelming performances in the recent tri-nation ODI series and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Fakhar Zaman, who returned to the ODI format during the tri-nation series, played only one match in the ongoing tournament against New Zealand before being ruled out due to injury.
His performance in the series was disappointing, leading to a drop in the rankings. He now sits at 19th, down from 17th, with 621 points.
Mohammad Rizwan dropped to 21st with 616 points, while Imam-ul-Haq retained 32nd, and the injured Saim Ayub slipped to 37th with 572 points.
Vice-captain Salman Ali Agha is currently ranked 46th, with no other Pakistan batter in the top 100.
Shubman Gill retained the No.1 spot, with Virat Kohli climbing to fourth after his Player of the Match performance in the Champions Trophy semi-final. Babar Azam remains second with 770 points, while Heinrich Klaasen of South Africa holds third.
In the ODI bowling rankings, Shaheen Afridi remained in ninth, while Haris Rauf dropped two places to 24th. Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed also slipped in the rankings.
Azmatullah Omarzai rose to No.1 in the all-rounder rankings after a standout Champions Trophy, while India’s Axar Patel made a significant jump to 13th.
