Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja arrived in Dubai on Monday to represent Pakistan at GITEX 2025, one of the world’s leading technology exhibitions.
The minister will deliver a keynote address titled “Pakistan’s AI & Connectivity Drive: A Model for Emerging Economies,” where she will outline Pakistan’s vision for digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and enhanced connectivity.
Fatima is also promoting global partnerships and digital innovation through Pakistan’s active participation in the event.
During her visit, she is scheduled to meet with the UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy, the Advisor to Romania’s Ministry of Economy, and senior officials from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.

The minister will also hold discussions with the Secretary of Slovenia’s Ministry of Digital Transformation to explore new avenues of cooperation in the technology sector.
Additionally, she will attend the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) and Kaspersky to enhance collaboration in cybersecurity and digital resilience
