ISLAMABAD, JULY14: Pakistan Railways has said that on July 17, 2024, all of the nation’s railway offices will be shuttered.All train reservation offices and other amenities are affected by this closure, according an official announcement. Officials from the railway have indicated that there would be no interruptions to regular operations after this date.
The railroad personnel will be able to observe Youm-e-Ashur, the 10th of Muharram, thanks to the brief stoppage. Authorities have guaranteed that there will be no impact on services either before or after the closure.Prior to this, the federal government set public holidays for July 16 and 17, 2024. The Cabinet Division issued this announcement.
In order to uphold law and order, the federal government has also authorized the deployment of armed personnel around the nation. Authorized by Article 245 of the Constitution, this deployment is being carried out in response to requests from many regional administrations, namely Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
