Islamabad, Nov 11: Pakistan Rain Forecast Showers Expected Across Regions
Residents impacted by smog have reason for relief as the Meteorological Department predicts rain across the federal capital, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Islamabad, smog is likely to be present on Monday morning, but by evening, conditions are expected to shift to partly cloudy with strong winds, rain, and possible thunderstorms. In Punjab, smog is forecast to persist in several districts, including Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, and D.G. Khan, with dense fog anticipated during early morning hours.
Regions like Attock, Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Lahore may experience rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds in certain areas by evening.
In northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, cloudy weather is expected, along with rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall on higher altitudes in locations such as Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Battagram, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Peshawar, and Kohat.
Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, and nearby areas may also experience smog or fog during the morning hours.
