According to the latest statistics, Pakistan recorded around 3.56 billion app downloads in 2024, ranking ninth globally.
Interestingly, Pakistan held the same position in 2022 with 3.5 billion downloads, showing its consistent presence in the app market. Pakistan has emerged as a growing market in the world of technology and mobile applications.
The report further states that in 2022, Pakistan saw a 35.4% increase in app downloads, indicating a rapid rise in smartphone usage and internet accessibility across the country.
Globally, China ranks first in app downloads, with millions of apps installed daily by its massive user base. India stands second, known for its large and active app market, followed by Brazil in third place and Indonesia in fourth.
